Sweater Season!

Happy Friday #follygirls!

I woke up today and turned on the heat for the first time this season; sweater season is here to stay! 

I LOVE sweaters, and I think sweaters make a great gift too! Their loose and easy fit make it a perfect gift to give to nearly anyone. A sweater with a great fit is sure to be a hit! 

So why wait? Get your holiday shopping done early and swing into Folly! 

Lets start off with the NEW sweaters we have at Folly:

First we have the Jira Sweater in Open Black. I love this sweater because of its amazing texture! You'd be surprised  how much your whole outfit can change, just by changing the texture.  So if your outfit is feeling a little 'flat', swap your plain black sweater in for the textured Jira!

Sweater Weather

Happy Thursday #follygirls,

It's officially sweater weather in Portland, Oregon! 

It's your favorite Folly employee here, Aya, and I'm so excited to talk about all the sweaters we currently have in store.

I would save "best for last", but I'm too excited to show this one off: its the NEW Parri Cardi in Grass. Like seriously... how CUTE is this sweater? This gorgeous green sweater is perfectly cropped, has two cozy pockets, and is soft as a cloud. We would pair the Parri Cardi with our NEW Barri Space Skirt. It's giving Ms. Frizzle in the best possible way. 

          

  

Next up are the NEW Mandi Mock Sweaters which we have in both Aubergine and Olive:

 The Mandi Mock is a super soft and cozy mock neck sweater. You'll want a Mandi Mock in your closet rotation this fall. It pairs beautifully with our new fall cords too!

 

 Also modeled with our new cords, is the Ulta top in Burg and Charcoal:

The Ulta top is the perfect long sleeve to wear when its too warm to wear a traditional sweater. The Ulta is fitted like a tee, with the softness and stretch of your favorite comfort sweater.

 

You know what I mean by "comfort" sweater.. the one sweater that's SO good, you choose to wear it over anything else. Because why mess with perfection? 

Well if you're looking for your new favorite sweater this fall...we have a cardigan that looks and feels so perfect, we call it the "perfecto cardigan." 

Why is it that good fitted black tops and cardigans are so weirdly hard to find!? When I felt this cardigan in the store- I just thought "yes."

Aya's Fun Fact of the Week:

Did you know that the word equinox means "equal night"? It comes from the Latin words "aequalis" and "nox".

New and Cute! Our First Taste of Fall in Store Now!

Around the shop we always joke that the moment it feels like Summer has arrived is when we start getting Fall styles in! Ha! Of course, that's just the life of a shop girl. Well, even though it's kiiiind of sad to know Fall is just around the corner...I find solace in the fact that Fall fashion is just the best. Soft and luxe sweaters, comfy cozies, extra tailored details. In Summer we are so used to easy breezy and flowy. Fall is really the time to bust out your inner style maven. ♥

Sweater Weather!!!

Leaves are starting to change and the feeling in the air screams fall! I know everyone is sipping on hot lattes in the morning and bundling up in old sweaters that somehow seem more threadbare than they once were...I know I'm feeling that way! But Folly is stocked full of cashmere, fuzzy fleece-y things, and soft easy knits! No more dull fashion moments! Fall is absolutely the time to shine and then some! Dress yourself head to toe in yummy and gorgeous goodness!

 

Check out this beautiful Jenni Dress in Forest Green! Made from recycled athletic fabric, this dress both insulates and breathes like a dream! Plus so soft! Super Cute Mickey & Jenny!

Ah October. The chilly breezy mornings have me so excited to throw on a sweater and sip on a hot coffee... Folly has in these new, gorgeous pieces by Mickey and Jenny. Quirky, chic, and cozy! You couldn't ask for more!
